Weather walk will be performed by Olive Bieringa as part of the Kehä Festival.

Weather walk unfolds as one-on-one performance journeys through the landscape in which we transform our small talk about the weather into meaningful talk about the climate crisis. “How does the climate crisis resonate in me?”

Weather walks have been developed as part of larger work Resisting Extinction.

Kehä is an annual festival, where all the works are produced for one experiencer at a time. The works take in viewers in care institutions and at an open event at the Culture House Valve in Oulu. Sharing experiences between artists is an integral part of the festival. We invite artists from all over Finland who work on the basis of bitalerality, social and health workers who believe in the possibilities of art, and all those interested to join us in our shared circle – Kehä.
