BodyCartography’s TOGETHERING brings audiences into the heart of dance, exposing other ways of knowing through radical practices of togethering. The dances, one-on-one experiences and group scores unfold in and around Knud Knudsens Plass. The project invites us to practice “audiencing” as we play with how we perceive ourselves, others and our surroundings, both consciously and unconsciously. TOGETHERING creates a space for movement, social gathering, conversation and reflection in embodied practice, behavior, relational intelligence, and intimacy in public space.
This version used Lisa Nelson’s Tuning Scores as collective practice to create a ground from which the intimate performances of BodyCartography’s GO, closer and action movie emerged and travelled into the park and neighborhood.
Performers included Elias Elvegaard, Frid Ding, Hanna Filomen Mjåvatn, Kosta Bogoievski, Josie Elizabeth Archer, Ornilia Percia Ubisse, Maria Lothe, Petter Singstad Skurdal, Olive Bieringa and Otto Ramstad.
