A demonstration to highlight the desperation in the arts community of the rent increases and the mass evictions. We were asked to come in black, so we came dressed in white, amongst seemingly, a sea of goths. Many of the other artists present were musicians. We worked with a walking and dying score. Allowing other demonstrators to walk over us as they passed. This created a really interesting rhythm in the way we experienced the procession moving up Market street. Part two of our score was as a group to carry the ‘dead’ body of another cartographer, through the sea of black clad bodies. Another visually stunning image.
