In this workshop we will explore how our spine supports our limbs and how our limbs support our spine through proprioceptive realignment. We will reclaim our innate power by connecting through our organs, fluids and connective tissue to calibrate our core from inside to outside & from outside to in.

Body-Mind Centering® is an experiential approach to embodiment, movement and consciousness, bridging the gap between deep inner awareness and dynamic physical expression.

The Feldenkrais Method® rewires your nervous system through mindful movement for effortless ease and continuous learning.

This workshop is for people of all backgrounds curious about deepening their embodied experience, including but not limited to dancers, performers, bodyworkers, educators, therapists, yogis, meditation practitioners and athletes.

There will be personal hands on sessions available with Olive and Marit at 15.15-16.00 and 16.00-16.45 each day. Each session will cost 450 kr. Please message us if you are interested in scheduling one of these spots and tell us with whom you would like to work.

Marit Schade Ødegaard is a dancer/performer and certified Feldenkrais Method practitioner since 2005. Marit has regular weekly classes and workshops, and has taught for several institutions for dance, like Skolen for Samtidsans, PRODA, CODA Oslo internasjonale dansefestival, Danse og Teatersentrum og Centre National de Danse i Paris.

Olive Bieringa is an artist and movement therapist working at the intersection of social and creative practice and pedagogy. She is Certified Movement Therapist (ISMETA), Infant Developmental Movement Educator® and Body-Mind Centering® Teacher and Program Director of Somatic Education Australasia. She is a doctoral candidate at the Theatre Academy, Uniarts Arts, Helsinki.
