Embodied Voice: the dynamics of breathing and vocalisation, PRAXIS Oslo

Our voices carry far more than sound, they communicate presence, history, emotion, and intention. In this workshop we will play with Body–Mind Centering® approaches to voice, breath, & embodied expression to explore vocalization cultivating kinesthetic and auditory awareness of the structures that shape our voice. By sensing and differentiating these systems, we will expand our capacity to embody, articulate, and balance vocal expression. Through experiential practice, we open pathways between unconscious and conscious processes, and between ourselves and others, allowing the voice to emerge with greater clarity, resonance, and choice.

Body-Mind Centering® is an experiential approach to embodiment, movement and consciousness. Body-Mind Centering® works with the conscious embodiment of anatomical, physiological, psychophysical, embryological and developmental principles through movement, touch and voice.

This workshop is open to anyone working with breath and voice, including performers, educators, yogis, bodyworkers, therapists, and somatic practitioner.
